James Simpson, a local Cave Springs cattleman, has inventing on his mind. Mr. Simpson is one of two Farm Bureau members from the state being honored this month in New Orleans. New Orleans is the site of 2008’s American Farm Bureau Convention.

James was chosen for the ’08 Farmer Idea Exchange for his farm implement “idea”. He developed a ‘double bale spike’. He and Charles Adamson from Forrest City were among 15 national selectees.
